Collard Greens Have More Calcium Than Milk

One of the actions I consider my duty as a doctor and teacher is to debunk common myths about health and nutrition.

I've been annoyed for a long time by the overly aggressive marketing tactics of the American Dairy Council and the effect I see on nutrition 'information' given in this country in the guise of education.

As you will see from the article linked below, this 'information'/education is mostly propaganda.

There are many food sources of as much or more calcium than dairy products which confer many other health benefits and contain many important nutrients.

I want to teach my patients live healthy, and in fact live healthy enough not to need me anymore. I want to help my patients be free of their health limitations enough that they achieve the quality of life that they want.



My dream for everyone is to have no restrictions in living a fully realized, fully expressed life. I am honored to be able to contribute to a portion of that for anyone.



My goal, then, is to empower my patients with the information that they need to achieve this. This blog is the first of many pieces of communication that will be working towards the goal of education, empowerment, expansion, and freedom to live life fully expressed and in good health.
